Noise64: Instead of playing madonna
bootlegs EP
Bitlab Records strikes back with its fourth
release which goes to an entirely new direction: that is none
other than floor and soulfiller electro, breaks, and dubstep melted
into a remix EP featuring Hungarian electronic artists.
The original track, Instead Of Playing Madonna Bootlegs is created
by Noise64 (Complementary Distribution – HU)
The remixers follow the original track’s path powerfully: DST’s
(Digital Distortions - UK ChiWare - HU) remix is a bass
fuelled party droid that defends every good deejay behind the
decks, fully armoured with dangerous percussive soundwaves. Techno
and breaks with witty bassline in one track? Indeed. Our next
hero is Cord (Nerve Recordings - UK Chi Recordings - HU)
who goes wicked, and spins everything up to get further from the
original track, taking us to the metallic highlands of some dark
and shocking electro breaks! Cooler (U-Cover - BE Chi
Recordings Bitlab Records - HU) closes down the EP with
his final warning, pointing out in full effect that we really
have got nice – dub-step-electro-break-freak – sounds to generate.
One great dubstep mover for the road!

Polyphonic Petals Compilation
Polyphonic Petals? This “scientific and fictional”
phrase seems ambiguous, but the solution is quite simple: The
Hungarian Bitlab Records has compiled this release with the science
of selection.
Each and every petal on this release represents one genre of contemporary
electronic music: The common root which these works of art stem
from can be entertaining and positive world melodies or a composition
made of unusual sounds and rhythms that makes the listener think.
Maybe the label had no other restrictions but the limitation on
stlyes and feelings; they wanted to create a topsoil for these
musics, where Hungarian artists’ best works and well-know foreign
artists’ yet unknown tracks can be complementers of each other,
collaborating to make their releases breed, so that they can become
a really colorful and entertaining arboretum.
Friends from Chicago to St. Petersbourg contributed with one masterpiece
while introducing the very best of the Hungarian electronica scene.
The lucky owners of the compilation will realise that Vector
Lovers, Miles Tilmann, Ten and Tracer, Joel Tammik and
many other talented artists really did a good job, and the hungarian
artists Cooler, HdjTom, Tigrics, Soutien Gorge
didn't drop behind.

Soutien Gorge - L'étoiles Souriantes
András Hargitai and Robert Potys have been working on this album
which was released on SG's 5th birthday.
The design is the work of Mechanik Fiveonetwo again, and the audio
mastering has been done by Cooler. The tracks of the album are
so called electronic songs, ornamented nicely with guitars and
field recordings in a mannered way. Poem samples of well known
20th authors are also present, and the minimal melodic atmosphere's
shapes are developing throughout the record's 11 protean and emotional
songs.

Soutien Gorge - Persze
remixes
András Hargitai aka Banyek and Róbert Potys created a track
in the hot summer of 2004 called Persze. András then asked some
musicians he knew (the label mate Cooler, the talented Hungarian
artist: HdjTom, and ISAN, the well known electronic band) to do
a remix of the track.
The reworks were developing and developing as the original track
was still on its way to reach the final form of itself. Finally,
Cooler did the audio mastering of the four tracks and Mechanik
Fiveonetwo made the artwork for the CD. The lyrics are about a
break up, a girl and a boy is talking, and the music becomes the
background narration and the foreground image of that sad event.
It is more than a remix-single, it is a collaboration which every
involved artist can be proud of.
Tracklist:
01. Soutien Gorge original version (mp3
sample)
02. Cooler's rework (mp3
sample)
03. ISAN Sun-snow-Sun mix (mp3

04. HDJ Tom's version (mp3
