Cooler
Cooler (or real name András Jakab) started dealing with music
in 1999-2000, but he has been involved in the present genre only
for a few years. Altough he doesn't really like classifying his
musical projects, the best attribute to describe it may be "contemporary
electronic". He runs a solo project: sound designer, composer
and performer in one person. According to him, his way of composing
and studio gear are constantly changing, but he never breaks his
principal rule: to consider music as a tool to reveal his ideas
about aesthetics, beauty, magnificence of simplicity. His art
is an endless fight to achieve these goals - more or less successfully.
Several artists and tendencies made impressions on his musical
taste: as a child, he listened to his parents' Kraftwerk and Jean-Michelle
Jarre vinyl records, encountered with electronic dance music later,
and finally he lost himself in electronica genre.
The Internet and the "online community" gave the opportinity
for him to show his works to the general public. His early (mainly
techno-based) works were published in 2002 on websites called
"partyarcok.hu" and "free-e.hu". Next year he got in touch with
Chi-recordings which is a well-known hungarian label. In 2004,
they released one of his tracks, it's on vinyl (Cup of Chi 9).
A couple of his works were played in Tilos radio's Demo show -
Tilos is Hungary's biggest underground, non-profit radio station.
Later that year a small and independent record label - Red Star
Budapest - released his EP named Yearning on limited CD-r. A new
one-track release on a 12" record is scheduled by Chi-recordings
for the year 2005.
In 2005 he formed Bitlab Records with Banyek. He remixed Banyek's
lovely track called "Persze" which is available on Bitlab's first
release. In this year the Belgian label, U-Cover cdr limited released his mini album "Do Aliens Cry?".

HDJ Tom
HDJ Tom used to be a punk musician when he was a teenager, then
he met Golden Sztaniol, and later they formed the band Golden
Army. After two albums at UCMG/Ugar they decided to stop for a
while and HDJ started working on his solo project under a completely
different genre: IDM/glitchpop. When his material was ready, he
started sending demos and after a while, Inflatabl Labl released
his Taste album in 2003 which had great responses all over the
world. He appeared with exclusive tracks on Russian and Italian
compilations and self-released a limited album True or False in
2005. That year, Bitlab records asked him to do a remix on Soutien
Gorge's Persze remixes and luckily he said yes. This is his first
and hopefully not last collaboration with Bitlab records.

Soutien Gorge
Soutien Gorge was formed in the autumn of 2000, and went through
many directional changes and cd-r releases. Since 2004 it consists
of András Hargitai aka Banyek who creates every electronic sound
in the tracks and Róbert Potys, the guitarist, who adds guitars
and other acoustic instruments to all this. Their music is melodic
and minimal in some ways. Their effort is to make peace with their
sounds in as many souls as they can. Persze is just a little bit
of their new album which is being created since the spring of
2004.
Banyek also has some solo projects. After a few dj sets at Hungarian
parties and radio stations, he gave a big thank you to the organisers
of Sónar festival 2004 for inviting him to play a dj-set at this
highly respected musical event. In 2005, he released an online
mini-album, titled Revoir with a gallery on the Soutien Gorge
website. The album contains live recordings with minimal software
setups. In that year, he also formed Bitlab records with Cooler.
Furthermore, he is a chief editor at a music portal called deepen.hu
and among other articles he makes exclusive interviews with musicians
he likes (e.g. Apparat, Freeform, ISAN, Vector Lovers, Hervé Boghossian,
Ovuca, Digitonal, Radioactive Man, etc.). In September, 2005 he launched his own netlabel, Complementary Distribution, then at last the new SG album was released at Bitlab as well. He has recorded an exclusive sound installation to one of Hungary's biggest and oldest non-commercial radio station (Radio Petőfi), it has been aired recently.
